Interview: Picture book makes sense of the pandemic, with help from four Twin Cities illustrators.
September 17, 2022: I had a great time during my book sale/signing in Olivia, MN. I was joined by Kristin Johnson, middle grade author.
In March 2022, I was commissioned to create the cover art for a MG/YA Online Conference, titled “Something Old”, through Iowa/Minnesota-SCBWI.org.
In November 2021, I was commissioned to create a banner for the Carolinas-SCBWI chapter newsletter.
October 2021, Alicia helped to raise over $7200.00 for the @AWEtober Art Auction/Fundraiser.
My newest picture book, TAKOZA, written by Tara Perron on sale at the Native-owned, Friedli Gallery. The Friedli Gallery is a new, inclusive gallery and community space in St. Paul, Minnesota. Heather Friedli hosted an Indigenous artist exhibition November 1-12, 2021.
