Hi! I’m Alicia, an author-illustrator based in Minneapolis, MN, and I create character-driven children’s book illustration stories and book designs for fiction and non-fiction publishing. I support those with a broad spectrum of backgrounds and experiences and strive to create quality literature that reflects the lives of all children.

I have 20+ years of experience as an illustrator, graphic designer, and content creator in Germany and the USA. Some my clients include the Minnesota Historical Society Press, Amicus Ink Publishing, Beaver’s Pond Press, and Cricket Media. I’m a member of SCBWI, the Directory of Illustration, Illustrators For Hire, The Illustration Department, and the 12x12 Picture Book Challenge. In 2023, I cofounded the #pb24galore co-marketing group for picture books.
